I approached Arlene mainly for help with sleep issues.

As a midlife lady, I was suddenly finding myself struggling to switch off at bedtime, or waking after little sleep with my brain in overdrive.

I was constantly feeling exhausted and unable to switch off or cope with day-to-day life.

I felt a little sceptical about the sessions being online, and how effective they would be, but I  found they worked really well and were easy to fit into my schedule. 

The initial sessions were very informative, and Arlene put me at ease straight away, she explained what was going on in my brain and how the sessions would work to combat the unhelpful thought patterns that I had developed.

Hypnotherapy has had such a positive effect, I understand myself more, and recognise when I need to take time out.

I use the recording regularly. It's a great tool to have if you feel overwhelm creeping up. I think it helps me to reset. I'm less anxious and my sleep patterns are much improved. It's done so much more for me than just help with my sleep issues.

 Having done counselling in the past which I found to be very intrusive and an invasive way of doing counselling I decided to try this as it was different from previous times and it wasn’t about delving through past trauma and more about the here and now.

At the time of taking on board this counselling I was feeling open and willing to try something different to improve my mental health and my overall well-being. Luckily for me this type of counselling really worked, I was able to find inner happiness and leave the past where it should be, in the past.

Working with Arlene I found her very easy as she was open and warm and was very quick to pick up on things that I did and said that were coming from a very negative mindset over the period of four months.

I feel I had a complete transformation in the positivity I felt towards myself and life going forward.
